About the Role
The Senior Associate in Family Office Advisory plays a vital role within the relationship management team, focusing on high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients. This position involves supporting Relationship Managers on large family office client relationships and managing operations for smaller accounts, ensuring a high level of personalized service and client satisfaction.

The investment management team crafts diversified portfolios for influential families and mission-driven organizations, leveraging shared insights, extensive networks, and a relationship-driven service model.
Role Narrative
As a Senior Associate, you will serve as a key point of contact for client service needs, develop deep understanding of client expectations, and act as a knowledgeable advocate to ensure tailored execution. You will drive client satisfaction through excellent service, proactive problem solving, and by cultivating trusted relationships with client intermediaries and advisors. This role also includes mentoring junior team members, collaborating across internal teams, and contributing to firmwide initiatives while upholding the highest standards of client privacy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Relationship Managers on large family office client relationships and/or manage operations for smaller relationships.
- Serve as a key point of contact for day-to-day client service needs.
- Develop a deep understanding of assigned clients' expectations and preferences to serve as a knowledgeable client advocate and ensure tailored execution.
- Execute client service strategy, track client team goals, and monitor trends impacting future client needs.
- Drive high client satisfaction through excellent customer service, prompt follow-up on client issues, and proactive problem solving.
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with key client intermediaries such as estate managers, chiefs of staff, and executive assistants.
- Cultivate partnerships with accountants, lawyers, and other client advisors and service providers.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and their advisors in executing wealth transfer strategies, asset protection, philanthropic initiatives, and other complex issues.
- Execute investment operations, bill pay, and lifestyle services for assigned clients with a focus on high-touch, seamless service.
- Partner with other internal teams on client service processes and workflow.
- Serve as a mentor and technical resource to client analysts and senior client analysts, working towards management responsibilities.
- Be an engaged culture carrier and play a leadership role in firmwide initiatives.
- Promote and ensure respect for client privacy and confidentiality in all matters.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and roughly six to eight years of experience in a relevant area.
- Prior work within a family office, wealth advisory firm, or serving high-net-worth households is strongly valued.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to lead thoughtfully and adaptively in a fast-moving environment.
- Track record of collaborating effectively with colleagues at all levels to deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Foundational exposure to trust and estate matters and/or individual tax topics, with the ability to explain key ideas to clients when needed.
