Key Responsibilities
- Serve as relationship manager for assigned clients, implementing recommendations in advanced planning areas: Wealth Enhancement, Wealth Transfer, Wealth Protection, and Charitable Giving
- Collaborate with Advanced Planning and Client Service Teams to ensure excellent client service
- Act as primary contact for clients and their trusted advisors
- Lead preparation of prospect proposals and client review presentations
- Participate in client review meetings, presenting cash flow models and advanced planning topics
- Use CRM to document meeting notes and delegate tasks as needed
- Assist with cash flow modeling for clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned client families
- Comply with industry rules, regulations, and firm policies
- Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in client-facing financial advisory role at broker dealer or RIA
- Strong financial planning literacy
- Series 65 or equivalent license
- CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFA®, CIMA® or other relevant designation
- Experience with advanced planning techniques including donor advised funds, foundations, 529 accounts, lending solutions, life insurance, property and casualty insurance, health insurance
- Knowledge of fundamental estate planning tools and techniques
- Experience with fundamental asset management tools and techniques
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong time management and follow-through abilities
- Ability to work closely with clients' external advisors such as estate planning counsel and tax professionals
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Exceptional emotional intelligence, integrity, and accountability
- Enthusiasm and aptitude for learning
- Problem-solving attitude with a collaborative and upbeat personality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience advising privately held business owners and families
- Life and Disability Insurance license
- Experience with Salesforce, Orion, Wealthscape, EMoney, and/or MindManager software
