Key Responsibilities
- Support advisory team by servicing client requests for investment information promptly.
- Gather and analyze data from internal systems, research analysts, portfolio management, and news publications.
- Prepare and communicate client investment information, including presentation materials and quarterly updates.
- Engage in direct client communication through meetings, calls, and correspondence.
- Conduct research on client portfolio performance, investment ideas, manager searches, and technology.
- Provide backup support for trading and investment operations.
- Coordinate with portfolio analysts to monitor and review client portfolios and make recommendations.
- Format, generate, and distribute client reports such as performance and attribution analyses.
- Prepare and review cash reports and disseminate information to advisory and client service teams.
- Create client books for portfolio review meetings and write quarterly fixed income commentaries.
- Respond to ad hoc client research requests and complete consultant questionnaires.
- Verify internal data accuracy and develop process improvements to streamline departmental workflows.
- Stay informed on capital markets and meet with asset managers and research firms to understand market conditions.
- Contribute research insights, investment ideas, and content for investment committee meetings.
- Communicate and coordinate with other departments including client service, operations, and wealth planners.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of financial markets and investment principles.
- Experience in investment research and client portfolio analysis.
- Strong communication skills for client and team interactions.
- Ability to gather and synthesize information from multiple sources.
- Proficiency with investment systems and analytical tools.
- Detail-oriented with ability to verify data accuracy.
- Team player with a congenial demeanor and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) or family office environment.
- Familiarity with portfolio management and trading operations.
- Ability to write investment commentaries and prepare client presentation materials.
- Skills in process improvement and automation within investment teams.
Compensation & Benefits
- Full-time exempt position with competitive salary and incentive bonus structure.
- Salary range: $85,000 - $120,000, with potential for higher based on experience and qualifications.
